CONTEXT

Adeo is the world’s third largest retailer in DIY and decoration goods, with over €25bn yearly revenues and more than 150 000 leaders across 15 countries. Key group brands include Leroy Merlin, Bricoman, Bricomart, Bricocenter, Weldom, Zodio and Alice Délice.

The group recently launched its Product Digital Platform (PDP). It is a key pillar of an ambitious plan to transform the entire business and become the world’s leading habitat platform. The Product Digital Platform will help expand the product and service offering, improve Customer experience, reinforce the market positioning and create a key revenue stream.

In this context, Adeo is looking for a Data Engineer to participate in the creation of our Product Digital Platform.

The position will be based in any of our offices in Lille or Paris center.

MISSION

This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain a holistic view of our business with both a local and global perspective. While reporting directly to the Head of Data of the Product Digital Platform, you will be able to contribute to the project of implementing a data platform; from the collection of data to the creation of data marts, user dashboards, predictive models with Machine Learning and thus have a concrete impact on the Adeo group.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Implementing our data model in close proximity with the business teams.

• Designing, developing and maintaining our Data flows allowing the processing and aggregation of data from operational systems.

• Developing innovative data-driven solutions, in conjunction with existing tools common to the “Global Tech & Data” platform.

• Disseminating good practices of Data activities. You are Data Driven and contribute to the dissemination of data know-hows

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Data Science , Engineering, IT or any related field from a top-tier university or engineering school.

• Highly organized and results oriented with a high degree of ownership.

• Strong interpersonal and relational skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Data Engineer.

• IT Stack: SQL, Shell, GCP ecosystem (Big Query, Google Cloud Storage,...).

• English proficiency.

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.

• Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, MLOps).

• Proficiency in data pipeline tools (Airflow, Dataflow, Kafka)

Dans ce contexte, Adeo recherche un Data Engineer afin de participer à la création de la Product Digital Platform.

Le poste peut être basé dans nos bureaux à Lille et/ou à Paris centre (à proximité de la Gare du Nord).

MISSION

Ce poste offre une opportunité unique d'apprendre et d'acquérir une vision complète de nos activités Data avec une perspective à la fois locale et internationale. Rattaché au Head of Data de la Product Digital Platform, vous allez pouvoir contribuer au projet de mise en œuvre d'une plateforme data driven, allant de la collecte de la donnée à la création de dashboards utilisateurs et de modèles prédictifs basés sur le Machine Learning permettant d’avoir un impact concret sur la croissance du groupe.

Les principaux domaines de responsabilité seront :

• Mise en place de notre modèle de données en très forte proximité avec les équipes métiers.

• Conception, développement et maintenance des flux permettant le traitement et l'agrégation de données provenant des systèmes opérationnels.

• Le développement de solutions data innovantes, en lien avec les outils existants et communs à la plateforme “Global Tech & Data”.

• L’accompagnement et l’acculturation sur les bonnes pratiques de la Data Engineering. Vous êtes Data Driven et contribuez à la diffusion des savoirs-faire data.

QUALIFICATIONS ATTENDUES

• Master Big Data, Machine Learning, Ingénierie, informatique ou tout autre formation équivalente.

• Très organisé avec un degré élevé d'appropriation.

• Solides compétences interpersonnelles et relationnelles.

• Solides compétences analytiques et souci du détail.

• Vous avez au moins 2 ans d’expérience en tant que Data Engineer.

• Technique : SQL, Shell, écosystème GCP (Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, ...)

• Langues : Anglais courant (écrit et oral).

QUALIFICATIONS OPTIONNELLES

• Expérience dans les frameworks d’IA et de Machine Learning (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, MLOps, etc)

• La maîtrise d’outils de data pipeline (Airflow, Dataflow, Kafka)
