🌟 CONTEXT
In charge of building strong positive relationships between our worldwide engineers.
Attached to our Chief Technical Officer, you are our Developer Relations Group Manager. You love connecting engineers, teaching, speaking about cutting edge technologies.
You are responsible for the developer experience, and its continuous improvement, interacting with our product engineers, and our core tools engineers, leading us to make our engineer journey the best it can be.
Your scope concerns all companies of Adeo Group, by creating a solid & committed technical community, across all engineers from business units, with a high level of communications and inter dependencies.
You and your team are composed of developer advocates, technical writers, and entertain the culture of engineering of the group, helping engineers to communicate about their projects, initiatives, experiences to the community, and outside the group.
You are very familiar with Open & inner source initiatives inside large communities (more than 3000 engineers), used to animate with social modern communications ways. You are key to impulse the inner source movement across all of our product teams.
You are key to entertaining this culture deck of engineering inside product platforms, by providing principles, and forge a mindset of openness : build way fast innersource and opensource ready products.
🎯 MISSIONS
- Leadership of a team composed of technical advocates, and writers. You will be responsible for hiring and growing the team
- Forging our engineer journey and making our engineers proud of their ecosystem, their works, engaged to the position of Adeo as Tech leader of the worldwide DIY retail.
- Shift our engineering organization to empower open source, and innersource principles across the group
- Animation of our Global Tech community, connecting all of our engineers around the world
- Drive adoption of Adeo Data & tech group products, helping to refine product experience by managing community feedbacks
- Support of a culture of engineering based on sharing, communicating, openness, with a high sense of innovation.
- Speak at retail & tech leading conférences, help our engineers to communicate and participate as speakers.
- Leverage technical initiatives, with proper communications, and commitments, helping engineers to improve their onboarding experience
- Setup our Technical communication plan, internal, and external (tech blog, tech events, cross business unit ceremonies etc.)
- Organise our master yearly Tech event as known as Adeo Tech Summit
- Build our Adeo Group Tech Academy, an engineering academy leading our talents to improve themselves through a culture of teaching and learning accross all BUs

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in multicultural contexts, with human management of 20+ people, composed of Architects, Software engineers & developers, quality engineers.
- Several experiences of booting engineering culture, and creating engineering community inside distributed organisations
- Strong experience inside engineering organisation using open-source and innersource
- 5+ years of experience working on SaaS Retail ecosystems
- Strong experiences on transversal technical evangelism across distributed products teams
- Knowledge of cloud PaaS services, affinities with Google Cloud Platform is appreciated
- Knowledge in Product management is really appreciated
- Experiences on animating HR path for engineers with HR business partners
- Multiple experiences in Software development lifecycle, with some practical experiences in industrialisation/automatisation of environments and security policies
- Experiences on interacting with others management functions, including budget management, customer service and engineering departments
