The marketplace is a key pillar of an ambitious plan to transform the entire business and become the world’s leading habitat platform. The marketplace will help expand the product and service offering, improve Customer experience, reinforce the market positioning and create a key revenue stream.
MISSION
The marketplace team of Adeo is looking for a talented, Customer-obsessed Promotion & Communication Leader to support its growth. The role offers a unique opportunity to build and implement the Promotion program and the Communication plan within the Marketplace. The Project Leader will have a key role in the long-term improvement of the Customer and Seller experience and the success of the marketplace.
He/she will demonstrate a high degree of ownership and motivation to build a career in e-commerce. He/she is analytical, enthusiastic, can think outside the box, detail-oriented, Customer-focused, and has the ability to handle ambiguity and influence at all levels of the organisation.
The position is based in Lille, Paris, Madrid or Milan. (We are currently working on remote, going to the office 3 days per week).
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Launch the Promotion Program within the Marketplace by coordinating with the different stakeholders in the organisation.
- Oversee online campaign calendars, workback timelines, and major milestones / delivery dates.
- Write campaign promotion reports - work with Data Scientists to collect data and summarise important insights.
- Define ROIs for the campaigns.
- Define the communication strategy and build the communication operations through an array of channels to keep our Sellers informed and engaged.
- Develop overall platform’s strategy for Seller training across different mediums (online vs offline) and merchant segments (large, mid-sized, small etc.) in a scalable manner.
- Continuously use feedbacks from merchants to improve the operations and to prioritise and design the best solution for merchants, in a cross-functional collaboration (Product, Marketing, Operations, Logistics).
- Manage all forms of merchant communications to ensure merchants are up-to-date with the latest policies and features.
- Be responsible of Seller & Customer Experience on the Marketplace

YOUR PROFILE
- You are curious, you want to learn and know how to be proactive. Your good interpersonal skills are an asset, endowed with a sense of listening, you communicate easily, interact with various interlocutors and deal with business and digital issues.
- You are motivated by performance and results: the impact of your actions and your work is a driving force for you. You can think out of the box and are creative.
- You are comfortable in an international environment and you can communicate easily in English and French or Spanish or Italian.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- +5 years of experience in e-commerce, consulting, FMCG or retail.
- Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field from a top-tier university.
- Experience in building relationships and driving growth with business partners.
- Experience in digital marketing, project management involving several functional entities.
